GNR Embroidery, Inc. and the designs featured here grew out of love for home machine embroidery projects by the late Glenna Norris. Glenna loved to create projects, but found many of the designs she purchased weren't as high in quality as she expected, so she used her background as a math teacher and her love for things artistic, and taught herself how to digitize, with a keen eye for eliminating things like numerous jump stitches in a design, so that her customers got the very best. She spent hours on each design, and while other digitizers put out dozens of sets per month, she preferred to complete 3-4, concentrating on quality of design, not the quantity.
We lost Glenna in 2013 after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer, but her wonderful designs live on and can be enjoyed by new fans who have never seen them before. A foundation has been set up in Glenna's honor (www.glennanorrisfoundation.com) and 25% of every sale will go directly to support for that cause.
